Hi, I知 Rich Carr from Meadia Heights Golf Club in Lancaster, PA on behalf of Expert Village. I知 going to show you how to properly take the ball out of the hole, once you致e holed the ball. Okay, I致e finished the hole, now how am I going to get the ball out of the hole? One think you definitely want to avoid is stepping on the hole, like so. So what you want to do is pick the ball out of the hole, keeping your feet as far away from the hole as you possibly can. Now the reason that this is, is because if I step near the hole, on the hole, it could sink the hole, or it could actually crown the hole making it very difficult to hole a putt. So I知 going to go ahead and pick the ball out of the hole. And I知 going to make another point, once I get finished doing that. I知 just gonna put the ball back in the hole, the other thing that you値l see every now and again if you池e playing with someone and you definitely want to avoid is sticking your putter down into the hole to get the ball out. You can cause serious damage to the crown of the hole by doing so. You値l see them do this and they try to pick the ball out and that痴 exactly what I知 talking about, you can really damage the hole by doing so, so I知 just going to go ahead and pick it out with my hand again. And I知 ready to go onto the next hole.
